Introduction to Law and the Constitution of Singapore

For the Introduction to Law Elective, I learnt about the Constitution of Singapore and its importance in maintaining law and order in our country. While the Constitution seemed to be a very abstract concept at first, the elective provided me with clarity and understanding with regards to how it worked. The elective course instructor gave clear and simple explanations that enabled students who only have a basic knowledge of law a better grasp of how the Constitution affects the judicial system in our country. Through the sessions, I gained insight into the different clauses within the Constitution of Singapore and the basic rights of all Singaporeans that are enshrined in this document. I very much enjoyed this learning opportunity.
