Advanced Topics in Chemistry

The Advanced Topics in Chemistry elective proved to be both enriching and interesting. Through the module, I have learnt much about how the different molecular structures that we memorized during chemistry lessons could be categorized into different groups based on how symmetrical they are. This not only provided me with a link to what was learnt in normal chemistry curriculum but also allowed me to appreciate the shapes of molecules better through the similarity between the symmetry between these shapes and the many objects we see in our day to day life. Overall, this elective is definitely a very informative and intriguing one.
