Talents of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow
E-Portfolio
An ePortfolio helps a student step ahead in life by providing a place to archive, reflect upon, and share their best work with their friends, and teachers. EPortfolios can often be used by many students to showcase the entirety of an academic career or impress potential university admission boards, scholarship committees as well as future employers.
We have therefore decided to give our GATE students a headstart in the process, by making it a
a requirement for all GATE students to create an ePortfolio that document their learning journey as a Hwa Chong GATE student.
In general, the eportfolios will document:
-
the goals the students have,
-
the academic courses that the students have take, the significant assignments and reflections about those assignments.
-
the co-curricular activities they have pursued beyond their classrooms,
-
the community projects, as well as
-
curriculum vitae.
This eportfolio will be created in a public platform and students will be able to take this eportfolio with them when they graduate and continue to build and refine it as they go through their different milestones in life.
