Multiplatform Game Programming was an exciting course that taught me how to create 2D games such as Space Invaders and Flappy Bird using Unity. Through this course, I acquired basic programming skills in the C# language, and used it to create scripts for the games. Unity is a user friendly interface and Integrated Development Environment. It makes developing games much more straightforward, and has preset scripts for various functions such as collision detection. To top things off, the instructor was interesting and thorough when teaching us how to code. He explained in detail each line of code and its corresponding function, making sure that no one would be confused, which allowed the class to progress together. All in all, this course has been interesting and fun as it provides a glance into how some indie developers start out when creating their games, and acts as a good intro to game programming.
