Financial Literacy

Before attending the financial literacy elective, all I knew about finance was that it is a subject about money and economics. However, after attending the module, I have learnt that finance is not only about money or economics. Although complicated for laymen, it can be interesting and fascinating. There is so much to learn about finance and there was a lot of calculation and reasoning involved as we were asked to calculate the rate of return of investments during the module.
After learning more about finance, we are now more able to make informed and wise choices on how to make our money work for us. The knowledge we have learnt could be applied to our future purchase of stocks, funds and insurance. This module is very interesting and helpful to anyone who uses money.
